What's involved?   Choose either:

The Long Walk:
Approximately 20 miles - divided into 3 sections - see indicative outline below - suitable for regular walkers or those wanting a challenge! The walk takes in open farmland, meadows, beech woods, great views and a day out in the Chiltern Hills, walking on ancient paths like the Ridgeway and the Icknield Way as well as sections of other well-known long-distance paths. If you don’t wish to walk the whole route, there is a shuttle bus available from the two main waypoints to take you back to Wades Park. Why not ask your friends and family to sponsor you?

The Short Walk:
Approximately 6 miles starting and finishing at Wades Park. While suitable for less experienced walkers and families, it takes in villages at the edge of the hills such as Bledlow (there is the chance to take a small detour to the Lions of Bledlow pub – as seen in ‘Midsomer Murders! - approximately half-way round).
